Anuvridhi supports groups of women with livelihoods as artisans, milk producers, and farmers by strengthening their saving and investment as a cooperative and marketing their product as an income generating unit. Strategies like incorporation of innovation, SROI (social return on investment), adapting service-delivery approach while keeping the core of human centric social development as the key pointer of the unique business model of Anuvridhi.
We at Anuvridhi support marginalised communities to achieve their goals of sustaining employment and self-reliance through the strategy of self development by breaking the barriers and limitations imposed on them by the social and the economic conditions. While development activities strengthen youth’s bargaining power and offer them new alternatives which enhances their Self-reliance and resilience.
Sustaining employment refers to work that provides economic security, food security and social security.
Self-reliance aims to support youth towards being autonomous and self-reliant both economically and in terms of their decision-making ability. Self-reliance is the basis of sustainability that is essential at the individual level and also for AnuVradhi youth’s collectives, organizations, and cooperatives.
Anuvridhi development programs work together to address the systemic and chronic economic and social barriers that youth in the informal sector face. Anuvridhi's holistic approach to development works towards ‘Eleven Points’ (social empowerment including the primary needs of food and nutrition, income, healthcare and housing, childcare which further expands to education and employment Self-reliance yet again deals with equipping themselves with necessary skills and resources to be independent, rather self-dependent to attain a sense of security, both economically and socially).
These eleven points serve as a chain reaction and help communities achieve the best of their potential thereby contributing towards their overall growth and development.

The world is aiming to achieve 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. They cover a broad range of interconnected issues, from economic growth to social issues to global public goods. India is ranked low on global development indices, and will be an important factor in achieving many of these global goals. Meeting this challenge demands a strong partnership among government, the private sector, and development organisations. In 2022, Anuvridhi charted out a road map to multiply our impact. Our energies today focus on bringing about multi-dimensional results through comprehensive empowerment of people in the poorest pockets of the country. By 2025, we plan to reach 10 million people across 12,500 villages in 7 states of North India where we operate. Our work is aligned closely with six of the 17 SDGs, and will be a significant contribution to the national commitment and aspiration. Our ambitions around each of the seven global goals are described below:
